Marshall Fortson
Marshall’s Bio Marshall “Groove” Fortson was born and raised in Chicago, IL. After attending Mendell Catholic High School, he went on to pursue a Mathematics degree at Tennessee State University. Marshall, better known as Groove, was the pioneer of Hip Hop clothing. Opening his first retail store in Tennessee, he grossed over $1 million dollars in revenue in the first 9 months. Groovewear Inc. dominated the clothing industry for 12 years in the Southern region of the US. Mr. Fortson re-invented himself in 2006, becoming an entrepreneur in Network Marketing. Although his success was instant, he couldn’t ,and wouldn’t, stop there. Marshall had a greater vision, one that would surpass his early accomplishments.
He hit the top position in the company in 6 months, and was featured in several publications, company wide and local. He gained recognition from the local Chicago news and was able to recruit several well known politicians and dignitaries to his business. Marshall was a leader in the Midwest and Southern states. With a work ethic like no other, Marshall is known for traveling to 3 cities a week and performing 3-4 briefings a day. This activity from the top carried over into a culture that made his team the #1 producer in his former company. Marshall‘s Team grew to 70,000 representatives and 140,000 loyal customers. On average Mr. Fortson’s organization would bring in approximately 2,000 new distributors a month. He became a Multi-Million dollar earner and generated tens of millions of dollars for his company.
Over his 13 years of loyalty he accomplished several incentive vacations and prizes as well as a BMW and Bentley. Marshall has proven, not once but twice, that he can re-invent himself and can take a company from zero to 1000’s of distributors in months. Not only a businessman, Marshall is seen as a philanthropist in his community, and has helped several entrepreneurs realized their dreams. Currently, Marshall is an agency owner with a fortune 300 company and became the company wide #1 producer in 3 months.
Mr. Fortson believes that his greatest inspiration to succeed is his family. He adores his beautiful fiancé, lovely children and cares deeply for his parents. He accredits a great deal of his success to his father, who was a very successful entrepreneur while Marshall was growing up. Marshall also gives credit to his amazing team of leaders! He understands that teamwork makes the dream work.
Ashley Cooper
Ashley Marie Cooper 36 years of age was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Went to Morgan Park High School. As a teenage mother, she went straight into the workforce, before becoming an entrepreneur in the insurance industry. Ashley started as a captive agency owner with a Fortune 300 company.
At the age of 21, she was the youngest agent in the company. While building a scratch agency she found her love for helping people. Just two years into the insurance industry the economy suffered a recession and she was forced to look for an additional stream of income. Network marketing would allow her the flexibility to provide the same quality service to her clients and offset the loss of income.
In 2008 Ashley Cooper joined a company that in 3 years she would dominate as the #1 producer for 5 consecutive years. Recognize as a Top trainer and Advisory Council Member. She became the youngest company-wide to reach the top position and earn a Bentley at the age of 29. Ashley’s success was monumental. She believes that life is in fact long and it’s full of ups and downs. The downs are times of evolution that ultimately build character.
Her greatest inspiration to succeed is setting a great example for her 3 children, Jada 17 Jonathan 15, and Jay 11. She accredits a great deal of her success to her Mentor and life partner Marshall Fortson and lastly to her amazing team of leaders! Ashley Is a spiritual leader. She coined the phrase VAMPing because she puts God 1st. Today as a serial entrepreneur she believes in helping women and single mothers strive for greatness in their lives. She says if she can do it so can you!
